Extractions
The primary objective of Sindledecker Dentistry is to prioritize the protection and preservation of your natural teeth. In certain cases, a tooth may become extensively damaged or decayed to the point where it cannot be restored. Tooth extraction is considered the most suitable solution in this situation.
During a tooth extraction, the dentist will administer anesthesia to numb the area surrounding the tooth that needs to be removed. Afterward, the tooth will be delicately extracted and, if needed, the area will be stitched together. One way to help stop or slow bleeding is by gently biting on a piece of gauze.
The dentist will assess the required recovery time, if any, and proceed with the placement of a dental implant to replace the missing tooth and improve your smile.
